All Around Guy

This may sound like a weird category, but my buddies and I were discussing it the other day.  The all around guy is someone that is the best at what they do, is liked by most everyone, and is well accepted among the ladies.  After much debate we came up with a top five, and I have thrown a few others we discussed on there as well.  Let me know what you think and who you would add in the comments.

Honorable Mention:

Shaquille O'Neal: It is very hard to find someone who dislikes the Diesel.  Always quick with a joke and a smile, Shaq has been making people laugh since he came into the spotlight at LSU.  No doubt he is one of the best basketball players of all time (although I can't say the same about his acting or rapping abilities).  But he may be lacking in the third category, while I'm sure he does quite well with the ladies he is not known for it.

 George Clooney: Another hotly debated addition, but couldnt quite crack the starting five.  It is a well known fact that Clooney is a ladies man, with a list of girlfriends rivaling any major star.  In the same vein it is hard to find someone who has bad words to say about George.  But like Shaq, he is missing the last key variable, this time it is being the best at what he does.  We can all name three or four Clooney movies off the top of our head that are downright terrible.  He has a few gems that are enjoyable, but when he makes Men Who Stare At Goats  and Leatherheads, it is hard to include him in this elite five.

The Starting Five:

Brad Pitt: Probably most well known for his good looks and charm, Pitt is actually a fantastic actor as well.  Looking down the list of his movies he has been in some great ones and played some interesting characters.  His movies speak for themselves and Angelina Jolie is pretty good looking herself, if somebody has bad things to say about Mr. Pitt they are most definitely in the minority.

Derek Jeter: Mr. Yankee is beloved by women, and even Red Sox fans have agree on his greatness.  Respected around the league Jeter is the only Yankee with 3,000 hits. His list of previous girlfriends is rivaled only by that of the next entry on the list.  Recently leaving Minka Kelly, Jeter is back on the market.

Leonardo DiCaprio: Might not be the first name to come up for this list, but think back to the criteria - he fits them all perfectly.  Best at what he does? Titanic, Inception, Shutter Island, Gangs of New York, and Catch Me If You Can come to mind among others.  A ladies man? His list is comparable in every way to Jeter's including Bar Refali and Jessica Biel.  Liked by all? As far as I know no one has a terrible problem with DiCaprio, he does his thing and he does it well.

Will Smith:  Now here is a guy that does it all.  We've seen him on Fresh Prince and we've seen him in I Am Legend.  He can make you laugh one second and be a bad-ass the next.  Does anyone speak poorly of Will Smith, nope most people are watching him joke around with Uncle Phil.  Jada Pickett Smith, although they might be splitting now, is quite the catch as well.  Will fits this list quite well and has cracked the top five.

Justin Timberlake - Might be the biggest surprise on the list, but think about it.  Started as a pop sensation before trying his hand at acting.  Still producing hits with anyone and everyone Timberlake can do it all.  His routine on SNL was one of the best of the last 10 years, he has been back multiple times.  And when it comes to females, he started with Britney Spears in her prime and hasn't let up since.
